Dan Gersten
Described as a creative out-of-the-box thinker with “a gift at seeing patterns within
chaos,” Dan has enjoyed a 40+-year career in marketing research & consulting, which
included a 12-year stint with Marketing Corporation of America and assignments with
companies that include General Foods, Citicorp, General Electric, Monsanto, Johnson &
Johnson, Rodale, 3M & WellPoint Health Networks.  Recently, he closed his Los
Angeles-based consultancy/practice translating consumer information into insight and is
now in the Boston area seeking new opportunities.

A divorced widower, Dan is the father of three: Heather, a radio personality in
Providence, RI,  Brad, in sports and corporate event broadcast production out of San
Francisco, and Matt, a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in communications.
In fact, Heather and his two grandsons, Jack and Dylan, were the major impetus to Dan's
recent cross-country move!

Dan's “outside” interests are varied and include Curtis and Buzz, his canine companions,
music, Sunday NYTimes crosswords, skiing, writing and creating.  He holds patents, one
of which has resulted in radio interviews and a reality TV show appearance.  In addition,
he self-published "Ask Curtis," a book ghost-written for his “canine Dear Abby,” and has
other writing projects in different stages of development.

                            is a NYC-bred leading-edge baby boomer.
Raised in the greatest city in the world, in the greatest country in
the world and in a time of advances, positive change & relative
prosperity, he believed that one could accomplish anything they
wanted to -- provided they worked hard for it and trusted in
what they were doing --  and that one should live life to the
fullest (within reason!).  And, he dreamt of making the world a
more peaceful, united and harmonious place.  Despite life's
demands, distractions, detours and tragedies, his beliefs and
dream are still in evidence today.
